Green Building May 8th Luncheon: Better Business Challenge Kickoff

How to Spur Energy Savings and Sustainable Practices in Your Business

What do Plow and Hearth, Alloy Workshop, State Farm, and Wild Wing Café have in common? They were all players and winners of the Charlottesville Area Better Business Challenge: a friendly competition that helps organizations cut energy costs, engage employees in the workplace, and gain community-wide recognition. At this Challenge KickOff Luncheon, find out how these businesses adopted energy savvy and other sustainable practices in their daily operations and how to play in the 2018 Challenge!

The Challenge is run by the Charlottesville Climate Collaborative and includes the following community partners: The Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP), Better World Betty, the City of Charlottesville, the County of Albemarle, the Chamber of Commerce, UVA’s Office of Sustainability, and 2RW Consulting.

Fee: Free for members and $10 for nonmembers.

Lunch will be served, Register Here

Our meeting space is generously donated by the City of Charlottesville.
